St. Helen School is pleased
to announce that Sister Laura and Diane Sama found and wrote for the
WE THE PEOPLE PICTURING AMERICA grant. We are among a group of
schools selected from across the country to receive large scale
reproductions of American Historical Art. These reproductions will
be used to enhance our school’s Social Studies, Language Arts, and
Art programs. The Materials are expected to be delivered sometime in
January.
St. Helen
School is the recipient of a Learning Technology Grant, which it
obtained through Region 5 in partnership with MS 137. The students
in grades 4 and 5 participated in the grant. The grant was entitled
“Proud to Be Me.” Students researched different cultures and
designed websites. The students worked very hard in a short amount
of time to complete this project. Their hard work can be seen by
